FAQ

Why isn’t there any thing listed in your shop?: I make one-off pieces now and then that will be previewed on my Instagram and later listed in my shop. On occasion I will have themed updates of multiple pieces. These pieces usually sell quickly, meaning that until the next update, there will be nothing listed in my shop. I will always share news about the theme, date, and time of the next planned update in my Instagram bio and/or in the banner at the top of my website.

Shipping: All domestic orders are shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Prints can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class. Please give me 3-5 business days to package and mail out your order.

International Orders + Shipping: My shop is currently set up to accept orders from the U.S., Canada, China, Hong Kong, Australia, and France. If you live elsewhere, please feel free to contact me for shipping quotes to your country. If you are interested in purchasing something before an update, please reach out to me beforehand with time to spare so that I can set up shipping to your country. Otherwise, you will not be able to checkout and may miss out on the piece you had your eye on. Keep in mind that your order may be subject to custom fees and other charges. I cannot be held responsible for these fees. I am also no longer able to ship to the UK due to the new (2021) VAT rules.

Commissions: I am always super excited to listen to your ideas and visions to create something special just for you. Please refer to the Commission Form Page for more details and to submit your request. My commission status (open or closed) is always listed in my website banner and/or Instagram bio.

Care:

  • Each embroidery I make goes through a “quality assurance” stage before I send them off. They are cleaned and tidied of any stray fibers. Over the course of time, you may find that although your embroidery has always lived safely on the wall, it may have become a bit dusty or attracted some pet hair. If fibers or pet hair get on your piece, a lint roller works excellently to clean it off. I like to tear small pieces of lint roller sheet and dab at the fibers/hair on the fabric - this way I can avoid touching the stitches. I do not recommend directly using the lint roller or tape on the stitches as this can cause them to fray or pull. If there are stubborn stray fibers or hair on the stitches, I recommend using tweezers to carefully remove them. If the embroidery somehow gets stained, spot clean with a damp cloth or a wet cotton swab.

  • Pieces with stones generally do best out of direct light - this is mostly based on the particular stone’s qualities —whether its physical makeup or color can deteriorate in the sun / whether its energetic qualities do better in sunlight or moonlight. If you are not sure, feel free to contact me and I can let you know!

  • If some accident happens on your part, to any part of the embroidery (stone, stitches, etc.), I can repair the piece for you at little to no cost. You will be responsible for shipping one way. Stones are attached to my embroideries with care and are stress-tested before mailing out. However, dropping the piece in just the right way or putting it in the path of children or pets may cause the stone to come unattached. In this case, please send the embroidery back to me to be repaired and I will reattach or replace the stone if necessary.

  • Most of my pieces are made with colorfast thread, meaning that the colors will not run if they happen to get wet and will not fade in the sunlight. Regardless, I would not recommend hanging an embroidery in a spot that gets very extreme direct sunlight. A few hours each day is fine. Overall, the worst that will happen is that the colors may be a bit faded in a few decades time, but even this would be very rare. :) Pieces made with non colorfast thread will always be noted in the description and should absolutely be kept out of direct sunlight.

Payment Plans: Generally I am more than happy to accept payment plans. Usually payment plans are set up as two separate installments paid two weeks apart, but if you require a different setup, please feel free to say so and I can let you know if I can accommodate it.

Refunds, Returns, & Failed Payments: Returns are not accepted. Refunds on ready-to-ship pieces are only accepted IF they have not been mailed out yet. For custom orders, refunds can only be accepted when work on your piece has not begun, however, 50% of project price (or 100USD, whichever is the lower amount) will be kept as a non-refundable deposit. In regards to payment plans, it is imperative that payments are paid on time. I will not accept future orders from customers who fail to make payments in a timely fashion. This may seem harsh, but embroidery is my livelihood! Late and absent payments prevent me from accepting orders & giving commission slots to other potential customers. ♥

Patterns: I do not make or sell any patterns, although I hope to do so in the future. Please, please refrain from copying or remaking my designs or having someone else remake them.

Tattoos: I would be absolutely honored to see my artwork live on as a tattoo! I would just ask that you support my work by making a donation or a purchase in my shop, and please send me a picture of the finished piece!
